Students meet with Reem A. Rasool Ahmed Jassim (Bahrain), female entrepreneur, Nov. 15

Amal  Shimon Peres High-Tech and Arts High School in Tel Aviv will host a meeting with female entrepreneur Reem Jassim from Bahrain, She will meet with students for an inspirational talk followed by Q&A, on Tuesday, November 15th.

The meeting is organized by the US Embassy ,the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Israel and the Amal English Department.

 

Reem A. Rasool Ahmed Jassim (Bahrain), female entrepreneur, expert on protecting companies from fraud, Ph.D. candidate in “Economics and Entrepreneurship Innovation,” at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in Germany has worked for Tamkeen (Labor Fund) since 2008.  Participated in U.S Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) “Women and Entrepreneurship” (2013), and U.S Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) in Washington D.C., Portland, ME and Seattle, WA, in cooperation with American University’s Women & Politics Institute and Center for Democracy and Election Management.  

As one of 50 women leaders from the Middle East and North Africa she observed and learned first-hand about democracy and U.S. political processes in the U.S (Oct. – Nov. 2008.)  Graduated from study and professional development in the field of “Telecommunications Policy, Regulation & Marketing Management” from Rutgers University. Holds M.Sc. in Marketing from Glasgow Caledonian University (2003); Dissertation Title: “Profile and an evaluation of consumers’ attitudes toward online shopping in Bahrain.” Holds B.Sc. in Management from University of Bahrain (2000.)
